The RICS Homebuyer Survey and Valuation Report.

This is prepared using the RICS Homebuyer Survey and Valuation report form and is appropriate for homes of brick and tile construction which are no more than about 100 years old.

These reports were introduced by the RICS when it recognised that an alternative to a Building Survey could be prepared on relatively modern homes, concentrating on any significant defects. However, a Building Survey is still recommended if the building is of unusual constuction or is in a particularly poor condition.
